Previous Projects
Robotic Harvester
We played a pivotal role in developing an advanced robotic harvester, collaborating from prototype to final deployment to meet rising market demands and address labour shortages intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our contributions encompassed redesigning the machine frame and optimizing robotic arm positions, implementing a sophisticated artificial vision system for accurate crop identification, integrating servo control units for precise camera and tool positioning, enhancing data communication between vision, robotic, and automation systems, and overhauling the electrical infrastructure to support these innovations.
The resulting harvesters are now operational in the fields, exemplifying the broader shift towards agricultural automation.
Packaging verification and OEE
Guaranteeing food safety compliance. A packaging verification system deployed across multiple production lines for our customer. Various types of cameras and barcode readers were integrated based on the specific requirements of each line, ensuring correct packaging configuration, allergen control, and full compliance with food safety standards.
A dedicated computer on each production line was developed for recipe selection and interlocking with the packaging machines. This system was integrated into the factory network, enabling centralized management of recipes and production data through a unified database.
X Ray inspection
Multi-Axis Servo Positioning System for an X-Ray Inspection Machine.
We collaborated closely with our customer to design and deliver the control system software for a multi-axis positioning system used in an X-ray inspection machine. The system incorporated four linear servo axes and one rotational axis, providing precise positioning control required for high-resolution inspection processes.
For this project, Omron motion hardware was selected as the preferred platform, including the PLC and servo drive units. Our scope of work focused on the development and integration of the control software responsible for coordinated axis motion and system control.
A key element of the solution was the implementation of a communications interface between the motion control system and the customer's bespoke X-ray inspection software. This interface allowed the inspection application to command and control axis positioning accurately during inspection sequences, ensuring reliable and repeatable operation.
Electrical Panels
We can designed and built bespoke electrical control panel to power and manage your machines.
Our engineers are experienced in designing and implementing panels based on Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi or other leading automation platforms — providing flexibility to meet client preferences and technical specifications.
